Danish Music Festival Grøn Completes Lineup with Kesi and Hugorm

The summer musical lineup for Grøn is now complete with the addition of Kesi and Hugorm to the poster. These two names join an already impressive list of artists who will perform across Denmark. Grøn, formerly known as Grøn Koncert, is an annual music event that brings top names from the Danish music scene to various cities in the country. This year’s lineup, in addition to Kesi and Hugorm, also includes well-known artists such as Blæst, Burhan G, Jada, Scarlet Pleasure, Tobias Rahim, and TV-2.

Kesi, who first performed at Grøn in 2019, is one of the heavy hitters in Danish rap with almost 900 million streams since his debut in 2011. “Grøn for me means solidarity, coziness, and community. I look forward to sharing good days with fantastic people, both in front of and behind the stage,” says Kesi. On the other hand, 2023 marks Hugorm’s first performance at Grøn. The band, led by Simon Kvamm, has quickly made a name for itself in the Danish music scene since its inception in 2020. “Getting to Grøn is huge for us. We have worked hard to find our place in music and are now ready to meet the audience,” says Hugorm.

The Grøn tour will visit eight cities, starting in TĂ¥rnby on July 18 and continuing through Jutland and Funen before ending in Valby on July 28. The interest in this year’s concerts has been overwhelming, with sold-out shows in both Valby and Næstved – a record early sold-out announcement for the festival. Tickets for the remaining cities are still available, but with the high demand and strong lineup, it is expected that more cities will soon follow suit. Fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their spot at one of the most sought-after music events of the summer.
