Denmark can expect a cool weekend with both sun and a risk of frost at night, according to the latest weather forecast from the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI). Meteorologist Martin Lindberg informs that temperatures will be lower than usual for this time of year. Friday will start off gray and wet with rain, especially affecting the southern and southwestern parts of the country, where between 10 and 20 millimeters of rain may fall. However, during the afternoon, the rain will diminish in Jutland, and the sun will start to peek out from the north. The rest of the country will continue to experience rainy and overcast weather with temperatures ranging between 4 and 8 degrees. Saturday night will bring clearer skies, but also colder air with a risk of frost, where temperatures can drop to between three degrees below freezing and four degrees above.
Saturday will start off sunny across Denmark, but as the day progresses, clouds will gather, and there may be showers with the possibility of hail. The temperature will range between 5 and 10 degrees. Sunday will also begin sunny, especially in North Jutland, but as the day goes on, more clouds will appear. However, most places are expected to remain dry. The temperature will reach between 7 and 10 degrees, only 4 degrees along the Baltic Sea and on Bornholm. The cool weather seems to continue into the upcoming week, so it’s a good idea to keep warm clothing handy.
