In an atmosphere of great joy and family warmth, Bergur Løkke Rasmussen’s son, Herman Lars Spånberg Løkke Rasmussen, was baptized at Hornbæk Church this Saturday. The day was filled with emotions, which Bergur shared on his Instagram profile, describing the day as “absolutely fantastic”. The weather showed itself from its best side, and the little church provided the setting for a very special event for the family.
“I must admit that several times, in the church and later in my speech, I felt how moved I was by the situation,” wrote Bergur. “This little golden nugget is mine and Simone’s son. He is so fantastic, and we are happy as a family.” After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Café Kadetten in Kronborg, where family and friends gathered to celebrate the new addition to the family.
Photos from the day show a smiling Lars Løkke Rasmussen, holding his grandson, a moment that clearly shows the pride and joy of the former prime minister. Herman Lars, who came into the world in October 2023, is named after his grandfather, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, who can now also add the title of grandfather to his resume. Lars Løkke Rasmussen, who is currently the Minister of Foreign Affairs, also shared his joy on Instagram:
“On Friday, our eldest son, Bergur Løkke Rasmussen, and Simone Spånberg became parents to this lovely little chap. Grandma and grandpa (Sólrun and I) just need to get used to the titles, but we are not just proud. We are almost swimming in pure happiness.” The day became a memorable chapter in the Løkke family’s life, and little Herman Lars is already deeply loved by his family and welcomed into the larger community.
