Danish Hip-Hop Duo Lamin and Artigeardit to Headline Heartland Festival

The Danish hip-hop duo Lamin and Artigeardit are ready to take the stage at this year’s Heartland festival, held at Egeskov Castle. The festival, running over three days from June 13 to June 15, offers a wide range of musical experiences, with the duo’s performance being among the most anticipated. Lamin and Artigeardit, who previously had great success with their joint album “Now that we’re here,” are expected to deliver hits like “We could be” and “Where the fuck is my drink?” during the festival. Their unique style and collaboration have garnered them many fans, and their performance is a clear highlight in the Heartland program.

In addition to the Danish duo, festival-goers will also have the opportunity to experience an exclusive performance by Mew together with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, marking their only festival concert this year. Heartland festival also presents Grace Jones, who with her mix of disco, reggae, and new wave, as well as a distinctive visual style, is sure to attract many spectators. This year, Heartland’s music program features over 130 performers, including international stars like Nile Rodgers and Ms. Lauryn Hill, as well as Danish favorites like Anne Sanne Lis, Tim Christensen, and Tina Dickow.

The festival not only offers music but also a range of talks, where well-known personalities such as Casper Christensen and Svend Brinkmann will discuss life’s big questions. With such a comprehensive and varied program, Heartland Festival 2023 promises to be an event that celebrates music, art, and conversation at a high level.
