“Grøn koncert, now simply known as Grøn, has once again managed to set a record in ticket sales, this time in Odense, where all tickets are now sold out. This marks the third city on the tour where the organizers have had to announce a complete sell-out. The organizers behind Grøn, which is a collaboration between the Danish Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (Muskelsvindfonden) and Tuborg (a Danish brewery), express great satisfaction with the continued support from the audience. ‘It is in Grøn’s DNA to fight for inclusion and support people with muscular dystrophy,’ says Theis Petersen, fundraising manager for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation. He adds that it is heartwarming to see the immense support from the audience year after year. The profits from the concerts go directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, which works to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and promote inclusion in society. Even though tickets are sold out in Odense, Valby, and Næstved, there are still opportunities to secure tickets for the remaining concerts in Tårnby, Kolding, Aarhus, Aalborg, and Esbjerg. This year’s lineup includes popular Danish artists such as Blæst, Burhan G, Hugorm, Jada, Kesi, Scarlet Pleasure, Tobias Rahim, and TV 2, and the tour runs from July 18 to July 28. Last year, Grøn celebrated its 40th anniversary with a completely sold-out tour, and the hope is to repeat that success. With the current pace of ticket sales, things are looking promising for this year’s events.”
