After an unexpected fallen overhead line near Sorø, which caused a temporary suspension of train traffic between Ringsted and Slagelse, trains have now resumed on the route. DSB (Danish national railway company) confirms that the trains are running, but only on one of the two tracks between Slagelse and Sorø. The incident, which occurred earlier in the day, led to the train traffic being suspended for over an hour, resulting in delays that will affect passengers for the rest of the evening.
According to DSB’s website, passengers traveling from Funen and Jutland towards Zealand can expect delays, as both the high-speed Lyn (Lyn) and Intercity trains will arrive later than planned from Zealand. DSB advises all affected passengers to stay updated through their website and app for the latest information on train operations and any further delays.
