In a spectacular demonstration of military precision and collaboration between the Scandinavian royal houses, both Danish King Frederik and Swedish King Carl Gustaf witnessed an extensive military exercise at the Swedish naval base Berga. The exercise, which took place on Tuesday, involved the use of blank ammunition and was designed to simulate a realistic combat situation without the risk of injuries. The two monarchs, dressed in camouflage attire and wearing earplugs, stood side by side observing the exercise from a safe distance. Around them, the loud bangs of blank ammunition could be heard, while green smoke bombs were thrown on the ground to add an extra level of realism to the scenario.
The soldiers, also in camouflage, tactically moved along the waterfront simulating attacks on enemy positions. On the horizon, a ship from the Swedish defense forces could be seen approaching, from which blank ammunition was also fired towards a simulated target. This exercise is part of a series of regular training sessions that the Swedish defense conducts to ensure that the personnel is ready and capable of handling various combat scenarios. The presence of the kings highlights the important role that defense cooperation plays in the region and the shared commitment to security and stability in Scandinavia.
