Danish Royal Family Participates in Record-Breaking Royal Run Event

Tomorrow, this year’s Royal Run will be kicked off by the King, who will start his day by running a mile in Fredericia. He will arrive at Østerstrand in Fredericia aboard the royal ship “Dannebrog” at 10:20. Queen Mary and Crown Prince Christian will also participate in this year’s Royal Run. The Crown Prince will run a mile in Brønderslev and is expected to arrive at 11:10, while the Queen will participate by running five kilometers in Kalundborg and is expected to arrive around 4:30 p.m. King Frederik will, in addition to the run in Fredericia, also run five kilometers in Aarhus and wrap up the day with ten kilometers in Copenhagen, where he is expected to arrive at 7 p.m.

More than 95,000 participants have registered for this year’s Royal Run, which is the highest number ever. The organizers have even had to put 7500 extra bib numbers up for sale, as the run was already sold out. These extra numbers were snatched up within a few hours.
