Morten Dahlin (V), Minister for Cities and Rural Areas, Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs, and Minister for Nordic Cooperation, became a father to a girl in March last year, and in September, the family will be expanded with a boy. Venstre’s Morten Dahlin, who is a minister for cities and rural areas, ecclesiastical affairs, and Nordic cooperation, is set to become a father again. This was reported by Billed-Bladet.
The 35-year-old Dahlin and his wife, Laura, became parents to a girl in March last year, and in September, the couple will have a son. If there are 18 months or less between births, they are referred to as so-called pseudotwins. In November 2023, he was appointed as a minister. Back then, Dahlin had to interrupt his parental leave, which had already started, just a few days before being offered and accepting the ministerial title.
“I only had one thing on my schedule today. It was baby swimming. Now I’ve been to see the queen,” Dahlin said at the time in the courtyard at Amalienborg. Dahlin went on deferred leave in February this year and returned to his ministerial position in March. He took over his ministry from party colleague Louise Schack Elholm in a minor government reshuffle. Before that, Dahlin was Venstre’s political spokesperson.
