Casper Christensen once said so beautifully in ‘Klovn’ (a Danish comedy TV series): ‘There is poop in the water.’ Køge Municipality now also raises the red flag after the discovery of coliform bacteria in two places in the municipality on Thursday. This was announced by Køge Municipality in a post on Facebook. Specifically, swimming is not recommended at Havnebadet and Ølsemagle Revle Nord until Sunday at nine o’clock. ‘Dear all, coliform bacteria have been found in two places in our otherwise beautiful bathing water.’ ‘Swimming is therefore not recommended until Sunday at 9 a.m. in the following places: Havnebadet at the Marina, where digital signs have been put up, and Ølsemagle Revle Nord, where there is no signage. Please help share this information so that we can inform as many people as possible.’ Samples of the bathing water will be taken again on Monday, and the results are expected within a few days. ‘If you feel like taking a swim on Sunday when the warning is lifted, use your common sense – if the water smells or is unclear, always avoid swimming,’ the municipality concludes in the post.
