Royal protection for the North Atlantic House in Odense increases awareness of the cultural center. The director of the North Atlantic House in Odense expresses hope that the recently announced royal protection will raise awareness about the cultural center. It has only been 24 hours since the North Atlantic House received a call from the royal family, informing them that the cultural center has, for the first time, obtained a royal patron. Director Claus Houden shared this news on Thursday afternoon, expressing great joy and pride in the recognition from the royal family.
“We are still overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for the support and acknowledgment that His Majesty the King is showing us, the North Atlantic countries, and the realm,” said Claus Houden. He believes that King Frederik as a patron will significantly increase awareness of the cultural center. “The royal protection gives us visibility and attention that we could not have achieved on our own,” he continued.
The North Atlantic House is a cultural center with a special focus on the Faroe Islands, Iceland, and Greenland. On Thursday, the royal family also announced which previous protections will be continued, as well as several new protections.
