Following the TV 2 documentary “The Black Swan,” Holbæk Municipality has discovered asbestos at the children’s house Villa Kulla. The discovery was made in one of the soil samples taken by the municipality. The municipality’s director, Erik Kjærgaard, stated in a press release that it is positive that no PCB was found, but at the same time he expressed concern about the asbestos find. “It is good that PCB was not found in the samples, but I am also worried about the discovery of asbestos in one of the samples,” says Erik Kjærgaard. He also emphasizes that the municipality will quickly remove the topsoil in the area where the sample was taken.
