The billionaire Birger Arp-Hansen has sold his share in the nightclub Museo following revelations in the TV 2 documentary ‘The Black Swan’, which shed light on extensive fraud. B. Arp-Hansen Holding announced this in a press release, as reported by Finans. Museo is mentioned in the documentary, as the nightclub has paid a security company implicated in the exposed invoice factories. Despite the unfortunate connection, Birger Arp-Hansen assures that the sale had been planned for some time. He also points out that shares in the nightclub Søpavillionen, also mentioned in the documentary, were sold last year. “The sale of the ownership stake in Museo should not be seen as an expression of taking sides in the ongoing dispute between TV 2 and Museo following the documentary series ‘The Black Swan’,” the press release states. Last week, Birger Arp-Hansen resigned from the board of Arp-Hansen Hotel Group as a direct consequence of the documentary’s revelations. He emphasizes that he was not aware of any illegal activities in connection with his co-ownership of the nightclubs and stepped down to avoid casting suspicion on his hotel group.
