For the second time in just two years, a Danish lottery player has won more than 750 million Danish kroner in Eurojackpot, as reported by Danske Spil in a press release. This time, the amount is an impressive 760,818,030 kroner, making it the largest win in Danish history. The lucky winner is only the ninth Dane to win over 100 million kroner in Eurojackpot. The first time a Dane snagged the maximum jackpot was in the summer of 2022, where the amount was 759,318,630 kroner on a ticket bought in Blåvand. Danske Spil has not yet revealed where in the country the new multi-millionaire is located.
Malene Mølgaard, CEO of Danske Lotteri Spil, expressed great joy about Tuesday’s draw: “A big congratulations from us here, and we look forward to speaking with the winner. It’s a huge celebration day here with us, just as I assume it is with the winner. It’s amazing that a Dane has won more than 750 million kroner for the second time, and that once again here in Denmark, we have taken the big win,” she says.
When Danske Spil contacts the winner, they will receive special guidance to ensure a good start to life as a multi-millionaire. “Winning so much money can be a big change, and we at Danske Spil want to help new millionaires get off to a good start,” says Mølgaard. Eurojackpot is a large European lottery with participants from 17 countries, who have had the opportunity to win the biggest prizes since 2012. Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday.
