A random citizen from Østerbro in Copenhagen has just had an extraordinary evening. A Eurojackpot coupon purchased at a 7-Eleven near Trianglen has resulted in a prize of over 760 million Danish kroner, revealed Danske Spil in a press release. The exact identity of the winner is not yet known, as they have not come forward. The CEO of Danske Spil, Malene Mølgaard, urges the lucky winner to get in touch as soon as possible. “We would really like to hear from the person who bought the coupon with the correct Eurojackpot numbers, so we can start paying out the 760 million kroner,” she said. She also adds that they are just as interested in hearing from the winner of the second prize of 50 million kroner, who purchased their coupon at Føtex in Svendborg. This prize is the largest ever for a Danish lottery player. In order to assist the winners in handling their new financial situation, Danske Spil is offering free advice from experienced, authorized auditors to anyone who wins over one million kroner.
