Jakob Dalgas is returning as the headmaster of Borup School after a challenging period. He will resume his position on July 1st, according to a written response from Køge Municipality to Ritzau. “I am really looking forward to returning to the school where I, together with my colleagues, students, and parents, have worked for many years. It has been a challenging period, which we now need to move on from,” says Jakob Dalgas. Køge Municipality has not been able to confirm or deny whether Dalgas is currently on sick leave. His absence has taken place in an unknown period, while the media has reported on alleged misconduct cases at the school. Several media outlets have previously mentioned that Jakob Dalgas, in an automatic reply to his email, stated that he was on sick leave. At the end of May, the State Prosecutor for Serious Economic and International Crime (Kammeradvokaten) published the results of an investigation initiated by the municipality. It was assessed that the school’s management should have prepared an action plan for a specific class at an earlier point in time.
