Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen cancels events after minor injury

Prime Minister’s Office has announced that Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has had to cancel her scheduled events on Saturday after being hit by a stroke at Kultorvet on Friday. The incident has resulted in a minor whiplash for the Prime Minister, who is otherwise in good shape but shaken by the event. The cancelled events included visits to Herlev, Rødovre, Roskilde, Holbæk, and Slagelse. The Prime Minister was supposed to participate in a series of activities in these cities, but now has to take it easy to recover from the injury. The information comes from a written statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, which was issued on Saturday morning to Ritzau.
