Liberal Alliance secures first seat in EU Parliament elections

Liberal Alliance has secured their first seat in the EU Parliament. After the final election results were announced, it turns out that the party received 7.0 percent of the votes, which gives them one seat. This is a milestone for the party, as they have not succeeded in entering the EU Parliament in 2009, 2014, or 2019. Liberal Alliance’s lead candidate, Member of Parliament Henrik Dahl, is expected to take the seat. However, the exact personal vote counts will not be tallied and disclosed until Monday.
