Stine Bosse elected to EU Parliament for Moderaterne party

Stine Bosse takes a seat in the European Parliament for the Moderates (Moderaterne). Stine Bosse has been elected to the European Parliament as a representative for the Moderates. This marks the first time the party secures a seat in the EP. The final vote count from the election on Sunday, completed on Monday evening, confirmed Bosse’s place in the parliament. According to KMD, responsible for the official count, Bosse received 86,888 personal votes, making her the fourth most popular candidate in this election. This is a milestone for the Moderates as it is the first time they have obtained a mandate in a European Parliament election. It should be noted, however, that the party already had a representative in Brussels. Bergur Løkke, who was originally elected to the European Parliament for the Liberal Party (Venstre), switched to the Moderates in 2023 and has been representing the party since then.
