Despite losing seats, Venstre has achieved the status as the largest conservative party in the recent EU election. According to data provided by the IT company KMD, Venstre secured 14.7% of the votes. However, the party will have to give up two of its seats. With all votes now counted, Venstre will have two seats in the EU Parliament, which is a halving compared to the previous election in 2019. Back then, the party obtained 23.5% of the votes. This year’s result marks a significant decrease of 8.8 percentage points.
