The Debt Agency has decided to reopen at least 25 bankruptcy cases where lawyer Nicolai Dyhr has served as a trustee. This follows a revealing TV 2 documentary, “The Black Swan”, which has raised serious questions about Dyhr’s handling of the cases. According to TV 2, which has obtained insight into a ruling from the Maritime and Commercial Court, at least 16 cases will be reopened, with plans to reopen at least nine more cases. This brings the total number to at least 25. The State Prosecutor for Serious Economic and International Crime (Kammeradvokaten) has been asked to reopen the cases on behalf of the Debt Agency, and both the Maritime and Commercial Court and other probate courts have given the green light for the reopening. Dyhr, who was previously a lawyer at Horten, was removed from the Debt Agency’s panel of lawyers back in May.
