During the European Championship in football, Germany has introduced temporary border controls, which Danes planning to cross the border should be aware of. The South and Southern Jutland Police therefore urge all travelers to have their passports ready and follow the new signs at the border crossing at Frøslev. In a press release, the police inform that all vehicles are now being funneled into a single lane before the border. Trucks must continue straight ahead, while cars and buses should stay to the right and drive via the Ellund Vest rest area. These changes have been made to facilitate the checks and ensure smoother traffic flow. The temporary border controls will be in place until July 19, and it is important for travelers to follow the designated routes and instructions to avoid delays. This information comes from a press release issued by the South and Southern Jutland Police.
