Employees and management at the Psychiatric Center Amager are in shock after a doctor was stabbed on Saturday night. Center manager Louise Rabøl describes the incident as shocking but also highlights the professional efforts of the staff who prevented the situation from escalating further. “We are very grateful that some employees acted very professionally and competently, so it didn’t end up worse than it did,” says Rabøl. She emphasizes the importance of all employees receiving the right education and training. In the aftermath of the attack, the center will now focus on improving security so that similar incidents can hopefully be avoided in the future.
