Crown Prince Christian’s Graduation Celebration with Family at Ordrup Hall

Crown Prince Christian set off on his graduation drive with his family at Ordrup Hall. The entire closest family gathered to send Crown Prince Christian off on his graduation drive, which began at Ordrup Hall. The Crown Prince’s graduation marks the end of his high school years, celebrated with the traditional student drive.

Crown Prince Christian was celebrated by his mother, father, and siblings, namely Queen Mary, King Frederik, Princess Isabella, Princess Josephine, and Prince Vincent, all present to wave him off. The festive event took place after his graduation from Ordrup Gymnasium Friday morning.

The student car, in which the Crown Prince rode, was decorated with the classic banners and slogans, including the well-known text: “1 honk we cheers. 2 honks we bottoms up. 3 honks for boobs.” It is still unclear which stops the student car will make along the way, but in the past, King Frederik and Prince Joachim made a stop at Amalienborg as part of their graduation drive in 1986. Whether Crown Prince Christian’s route includes a similar stop, the royal house has not wished to comment.

Crown Prince Christian completed his final exam with an impressive grade of 10 on Monday and can now look forward to a time of celebration and festivities. What the future holds exactly for the Crown Prince has not yet been announced, but he expressed his joy at the prospect of entering military service on the DR program “A Royal Journey.”

He also mentioned that he looks forward to exploring the world and challenging himself in new ways. “I will probably go out and see the world and challenge myself in new ways and prepare for different things,” the Crown Prince told the gathered press.

Crown Prince Christian began his high school education at Herlufsholm but transferred to Ordrup Gymnasium in 2nd grade after a documentary on TV 2 revealed a culture of violence and bullying at the former school.

In addition to being a recent graduate, the Crown Prince also holds the title of regent, a position he obtained on his 18th birthday last year. As regent, he can perform the king’s duties as head of state if the king is unable to, for example, during stays abroad.
