Thomas Uhrskov revealed as the owner of a unique concrete summerhouse in Klitmøller on “Kender du typen?”
In the popular TV show “Kender du typen?” (Do you know the type?) viewers were recently presented with an impressive summerhouse in Klitmøller, which is built entirely of concrete. The host, Tobias Hansen, revealed that the house belongs to none other than TV host and journalist Thomas Uhrskov.
Thomas Uhrskov, born on July 9, 1958 in Copenhagen, is particularly known for his many ski programs on TV 2, such as “PĂĄ Ski” (On Ski), “PĂĄ Ski, Again” (On Ski, Again), and “PĂĄ Ski Igen, Igen” (On Ski Again, Again). He has also produced ski series for DK4 and has written several books about skiing. In addition to his passion for skiing, which he has also shared through various lectures and ski films, Uhrskov has contributed to increasing interest in skiing in Denmark. He is known for blending technical knowledge with a playful approach to the sport, making his programs very popular.
The summerhouse in Klitmøller is used by Thomas Uhrskov together with his wife Helle and their three children, Sally, Anton, and Frida. The construction of the house, which the family designed and built themselves, has been documented in a series of videos where Uhrskov shares their experiences and challenges with the project.
Thomas Uhrskov’s career spans many years, during which he has worked as both a journalist and TV host.
