The internationally renowned British singer Ed Sheeran is returning to Denmark in August 2025. Last time he performed in the country was in 2022, where he gathered around 160,000 people in Øresundsparken in Copenhagen. Now it has been confirmed by the organizer smash!bang!pow! that he will hold two concerts in the same park in 2025.
According to a press release from the organizer, both concerts will take place in August as part of Sheeran’s Mathematics Europe tour. The tour starts in Madrid on May 30 and ends in Düsseldorf on September 5. There will be room for 45,000 concertgoers per day in Øresundsparken, and tickets for both concerts can be purchased from July 10, 2025 at 9 am.
Ed Sheeran has previously expressed his enthusiasm for performing in Denmark. During his last concert in the country in 2022, he described the Danish audience and the country as “lovely.”
Sheeran has a long history with Denmark. The first time he performed here was at the Gaffa Awards in 2011, where as a relatively unknown artist, he stood on the stage at Bremen Teater in Copenhagen. Since then, he has also performed at Forum in Copenhagen in 2014, Tusindårsskoven in Odense in 2019, and most recently at Øresundsparken in 2022.
Sheeran’s latest release is the album “x (10th Anniversary Edition),” which was released on June 21, 2024. Among his most popular songs on Spotify are “Shape of You” from 2017 and “Photograph” from 2014.
In addition to Denmark, Sheeran’s tour will also take him to several other European countries, including Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, and Sweden.
Ed Sheeran has sold almost 200 million records worldwide and has previously toured in North America, Southeast Asia, and India, according to the press release from smash!bang!pow!.
The concerts in Denmark will take place on August 29 and 30, 2025 in Øresundsparken in Copenhagen.
