“Due to bad weather over Skagerrak, there will be changes in the schedule on 06/07-24,” says the message from Fjord Line. The scheduled departures from Kristiansand in southern Norway to Hirtshals in North Jutland at 19.45 and the return from Hirtshals to Kristiansand at 22.50 were both canceled. In addition, a ferry that was supposed to sail from Hirtshals to Stavanger and Bergen in Norway at 20.00 was also changed to sail from Kristiansand.
According to the Norwegian news agency NTB, several ferries from Fjord Line were also canceled on Sunday morning. People who had planned to sail from Kristiansand at 06.30 or from Hirtshals at 09.45 were also affected and will need to find alternative transport options.
