If everything goes according to plan, Mads Fuglede could make a significant profit on the sale of his villa in Amager. According to information from Boliga (a Danish property website), the Member of Parliament bought the villa for 1,500,000 Danish kroner through a family transfer. Now, he has listed the property for sale for 9,495,000 Danish kroner, potentially earning him a profit of 7.95 million kroner.
However, there is a chance that the price may be slightly reduced. Boliga reports that on average, a discount of 2.6 percent is given in the area for property sales.
Mads Fuglede, who recently switched from Venstre (Center-Right political party in Denmark) to Danmarksdemokraterne (Danish Democrats, a political party), has had a long political career and has served in the Folketinget (Danish Parliament) for three terms. He is also a candidate for Danmarksdemokraterne in the upcoming municipal elections, where he hopes to become the mayor of Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality.
In addition to his political career, Mads Fuglede has been used as an American election expert on TV 2 (a Danish television channel). However, he had to give up this role earlier this year when TV 2 decided to stop using elected politicians in their news coverage.
