A 29-year-old man is facing serious charges of raping a 13-year-old girl. The alleged crime occurred on Tuesday evening in a car near Videbæk, a town in Denmark. On Wednesday morning, the man appeared before a judge at the Herning Court (Retten i Herning). During the court session, which was held behind closed doors, the judge decided to remand the man in custody for an initial period of four weeks. According to prosecutor Iben Ernst Bøttker, the accused denies the charges against him.
