On Friday morning, a fire broke out in a summer house on Gyvelvænget in Tåsinge, located in the South Funen Archipelago, Denmark. According to duty officer Steen Nyland from Funen Police (Fyns Politi), the house was fully engulfed in flames when the patrol arrived at the scene. The police station received the report of the fire at 8:38 AM.
Upon arrival, a man was found on-site who had managed to escape the house. “The fire is burning brightly, but the smoke is drifting out over the water,” the duty officer explained. There is, however, no danger to nearby buildings. “Everything is under control now, so there is no risk of spreading,” reassured Steen Nyland.
