Metro Operations Resumed After Fatal Accident: 29-Year-Old Woman Struck at Lindevang Station
Metro services between Vanløse and Frederiksberg have resumed on Thursday afternoon following a tragic fatal accident. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, when a 29-year-old woman was struck by a metro train at Lindevang Station, resulting in her death.
Copenhagen Police (Københavns Politi) have informed the woman’s next of kin and stated that there is no indication of any criminal activity connected to the accident. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Due to the accident, metro services between Vanløse Station and Frederiksberg Station were suspended for several hours. Copenhagen Police announced at 12:18 PM on platform X, previously known as Twitter, that they had completed their work at the accident site and that metro operations had resumed. During the service disruption, alternative transport options, including certain bus services, were made available to passengers.
