On Wednesday afternoon, a minor fire broke out in the basement of Novo Nordisk in Måløv, Denmark. The Copenhagen West Police (Københavns Vestegns Politi) were alerted to the fire at 2:10 PM, and an hour later, the fire was under control. Duty Officer Bo Nyberg Ris from the police stated that no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and the police are conducting further investigations into the incident. Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company known for its diabetes care products, has recently experienced several fires in its various facilities.

On June 18, a fire occurred in a building on Krogshøjvej in Bagsværd, but the police found no criminal motive behind this incident. Earlier in the year, on May 2, a fire ignited at one of the company’s buildings on Smørmosevej in Bagsværd. This fire started outside the building and later spread to an office building. A week prior to this incident, a significant fire broke out at a construction site near Novo Nordisk’s production facilities in Kalundborg. The intensity of this fire was such that the smoke was visible from 30 kilometers away.

According to MedWatch, two construction workers without work permits may have been responsible for the fire in Kalundborg. Novo Nordisk has previously stated that they do not believe there is anything criminal behind the fires they have experienced. The police continue their investigations to determine the cause of the most recent fire in Måløv.
