Intensified Search for Missing 68-Year-Old in Northern Jutland
The search for 68-year-old Tommy, who has been missing since last Wednesday, is continuing relentlessly in Northern Jutland. On Tuesday, the North Jutland Police (Nordjyllands Politi) deployed a helicopter to search two forest areas in Frederikshavn, but the efforts yielded no results. The police are now shifting their focus to new leads, including information from local residents, as reported to TV 2.
The police have also contacted the ferry company Stena Line to investigate whether Tommy may have left the country. Previous investigations have included a review of surveillance footage in the town.
Investigator Michael Karstensen from the North Jutland Police expressed concern about the ongoing situation, stating, “It’s no secret that the longer this goes on, the more worried I become.”
The search scheduled for Wednesday will involve the use of search dogs in hopes of finding clues related to the missing man. Tommy is described as being 180 centimeters (approximately 5 feet 11 inches) tall, strongly built, with a gray ponytail, and possibly wearing black clothing and black glasses. Due to reduced mobility, it is believed that he may be using some form of transportation.
If anyone has information related to this case, they are encouraged to contact the police at telephone number 1-1-4.
