Copenhagen: The police are currently conducting an intensive search for three suspects who escaped on bicycles following a stabbing incident at City Hall Square late Saturday night. Jesper Schroll, the head of the investigation at the Copenhagen Police (Københavns Politi), stated that the incident arose from a “dispute” at the square. According to Schroll, the 37-year-old man who was assaulted and stabbed is not in life-threatening condition as the injuries are superficial.
“A victim was approached and stabbed by three men,” Jesper Schroll said, adding that it has not yet been disclosed where on the body the victim was injured.
The police arrived promptly at City Hall Square to commence their investigation and are now urging any witnesses who observed the incident or recorded it to come forward. “If there are any witnesses who may have seen this or captured it on video, we would certainly like to hear from them,” Schroll remarked.
The suspects remain at large, and the police currently have only sparse descriptions of the three men, who appear to have left the scene on bicycles. Authorities are requesting anyone with information to contact them at phone number 114.
