Tragic Solo Accident in Aarhus Claims Life of 30-Year-Old

**Tragic Solo Car Accident in Aarhus: 30-Year-Old Man Dies, 24-Year-Old Driver Under Suspicion**

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Aarhus experienced a tragic solo car accident in which a vehicle crashed into a noise barrier along Ringvejen, a major road in the city. The incident resulted in the death of a 30-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car.

East Jutland Police (Østjyllands Politi) have reported that the driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man, is now under suspicion for driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances. A blood test has been conducted to determine if any substances were involved, which could qualify the accident as reckless driving.

The police received notification of the accident at 5:08 AM on Saturday morning, after which emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene. The 30-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the site of the crash, while the 24-year-old driver was transported to Aarhus University Hospital in Skejby. According to police reports, he has undergone surgery, although details about the nature of the surgery have not been disclosed.

A preliminary hearing for the 24-year-old took place in absentia on Saturday afternoon, as he remains hospitalized. The judge has decided to uphold his detention for three days.

At this time, the exact cause of the accident remains unclear. East Jutland Police continue their investigation and have not yet provided further comments on the events leading up to the crash.

No other individuals were involved in this incident.
