On Monday evening, a 14-year-old girl left her home in Kristianstad, Sweden, allegedly to attend a pajama party in Landskrona. Hours later, she was found lifeless and injured in an industrial area of the same city. Since then, two girls aged 13 and 15 have been arrested and are suspected of murder, according to reports from the Danish media outlet BT.
Swedish media, Expressen, has revealed that, according to their information, there was never a pajama party planned. During the interrogation of the two arrested girls, it emerged that the invitation was merely a ruse to lure the 14-year-old to Landskrona. It is alleged that they had planned to humiliate and assault her.
The girls had prepared for the encounter by purchasing a knife and duct tape from various stores. They met the 14-year-old at Landskrona Station and followed her to a secluded industrial area. There, they reportedly attacked her with both punches and stabbing.
Expressen reports that parts of the assault were recorded and shared among others. The two arrested girls have admitted to planning an attack on the 14-year-old, but they deny intending to kill her.
