In the early hours of Saturday morning, Aarhus N, a district in Denmark, was shaken by a serious car accident that resulted in injuries to two individuals and, tragically, one fatality. The incident occurred on Hasle Ringvej near the intersection with Halmstadgade, where a vehicle crashed directly into a sound barrier along the Ringvej (Ring Road).

Unfortunately, the life of the 30-year-old passenger in the vehicle could not be saved, while the 24-year-old driver sustained serious injuries. The 24-year-old driver remains hospitalized at Skejby Hospital (Skejby Sygehus) and was presented for a preliminary hearing in absentia on Saturday afternoon. The judge found grounds to maintain the detention until July 30, based on “objective findings” in the car, according to East Jutland Police (Østjyllands Politi).

The relatives of the deceased 30-year-old have been informed about the tragic incident.
