# Stabbing Incident in Copenhagen – Four Young Men Arrested
A young man was stabbed on Sunday afternoon during a larger brawl between two groups outside the Next House Copenhagen hotel on Bernstorffsgade in Copenhagen. This information was provided by the Copenhagen Police to 365nyt.dk.
“We received a report of two groups that had started fighting. One individual from the first group has been stabbed,” stated duty officer Dyre Sønnicksen to 365nyt.dk.
The 17-year-old who was stabbed sustained only superficial injuries. “It is minor lacerations – in no way life-threatening,” said the duty officer. However, the victim was still transported to the hospital by ambulance personnel to ensure his safety. Dyre Sønnicksen emphasized that the 17-year-old was never in life-threatening danger. The victim is a Swedish citizen.
The duty officer also reported that all four individuals involved in the brawl on the assailant’s side have been arrested. They are four young men aged 24, 21, 20, and 16 years old, respectively.
At this time, there is no indication that the fight was gang-related. The two groups had been in the basement of the Next House hotel, which is accessible to the public, prior to the incident.
