A kangaroo has been spotted roaming freely in Strib, a town near Middelfart, Denmark, and the police are now searching for the animal’s owner. The on-duty chief at the Funen Police (Fyns Politi), Bjarne Tykgaard, stated that they would like to hear from anyone who may have information about the kangaroo and its owner.

“We need to find the owner. If anyone knows who owns it, they are encouraged to contact us,” said Bjarne Tykgaard.

A witness reported the sighting of the loose kangaroo to the police. The animal remains at large until its owner is located and can retrieve it. “It is the owner’s responsibility to catch it,” Tykgaard emphasized.
