**German Plane Crashes into the Sea Near Greenland: Two Survivors Rescued**
On Monday at noon, an emergency message was received by the Arctic Command (Arktisk Kommando). A German-registered plane issued a MAYDAY call before crashing into the sea southwest of Qaqortoq, a town in southwestern Greenland.
The naval inspection ship TRITON responded quickly and dispatched a lifeboat. Half an hour later, the two individuals aboard the plane were safely on the ship, as reported by Arctic Command on Facebook.
The aircraft was en route from Canada to Narsarsuaq, an airport located in southern Greenland. The survivors were taken to the hospital in Qaqortoq. There is currently no information available regarding their condition, as the police have now taken over the investigation into the incident.
