# Another Arrest in Major Weapons Case in Holbæk
Several individuals are already in custody in connection with a significant weapons case in Holbæk, Denmark. The Mid and West Zealand Police (Midt- og Vestsjællands Politi) have conducted yet another arrest.
On Tuesday morning, a 23-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of firearms. According to communications officer Charlotte Tornquist from the Mid and West Zealand Police, the case stems from two weapons discoveries in Holbæk, which occurred in January and February.
The 23-year-old man is scheduled to appear in a preliminary hearing on Tuesday afternoon at the Holbæk Court (Retten i Holbæk). The arrest took place at 8:30 AM on Tuesday. He is accused of possessing a so-called signal pistol, which typically only fires blank ammunition. However, in this instance, the pistol had been modified to also fire live rounds.
This firearm was discovered alongside several other weapons in Ladegårdsparken, a park in Holbæk, where police made a significant weapons find in February that included firearms, knives, and blunt instruments. Additionally, the man is charged with possession of a Beretta pistol, which was found by the police in Apotekerhaven, another area in Holbæk, in January.
The 23-year-old will be presented to a judge at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, where he will be informed of the specific charges by the prosecution and will have the opportunity to respond. Tornquist reports that there are several individuals implicated in the case, with many already in custody.
