The Southern and South Jutland Police (Syd- og Sønderjyllands Politi) are investigating a violent incident that occurred at a Netto supermarket in Skærbæk, Denmark, and are now seeking assistance from the public. Footage of the incident has been submitted to the police, showing several assailants attacking a man with kicks and punches.
On Monday, the video led to the arrest of two men, aged 46 and 50, who are believed to be involved in the incident. The assault took place either on Friday, July 26, or Saturday, July 27, and the police are searching for witnesses who can help narrow down the timing of the attack. The footage shows several vehicles passing by, and the police are also interested in contacting individuals who may have recorded the incident.
The police urge anyone who witnesses violence to call emergency services at 112, to ensure that the violence is stopped as quickly as possible. Police Commissioner John Christiansen emphasized the importance of contacting the police first before recording incidents as evidence.
The arrested men have since been released, and the prosecution will later decide whether charges should be filed. For further information regarding the case, the police can be contacted at telephone number 114.
