An elderly man from Frederikshavn, Denmark, experienced an unfortunate incident on Monday evening when he fell down a slope in his backyard and became trapped in thick bushes. The accident resulted in the man spending the night stuck in bramble, as he was unable to free himself.

It wasn’t until Tuesday morning that the man was discovered by his home care assistant, who had come to visit him. She found him wedged among the branches and immediately called for help. Emergency services arrived quickly and worked to free the man by cutting away some of the branches.

According to the incident commander, Dennis Hovn, who spoke to the local news outlet Nordjyske, the man was surprisingly in good condition despite his ordeal. After being checked by paramedics, he appeared to be in good spirits, even after spending an entire night in the prickly underbrush. The man did not suffer any serious injuries and was relatively unharmed when he was finally rescued.
