Emergency services in Frederikshavn were called out on Thursday to respond to a fire in a villa located on Stentevej in Strandby, a district in the town. The initial report suggested that the fire had started in the garage of the villa. The North Jutland Fire and Rescue Service (Nordjyllands Beredskab) reported around 4:15 PM that the garage had been completely destroyed.
Fortunately, firefighters were able to prevent the flames from spreading to the main structure of the house, although the property did sustain damage to one corner. Cleanup operations at the site are already underway, and damage control services have been called in to address the affected area of the house. An investigation into the cause of the fire is currently ongoing.
