Police Seek Witnesses in Search for Missing Danish Man

A 44-year-old man has been missing for one and a half days, and police are seeking witnesses who may have seen him. The search for Morteza Najari continues on Thursday after he vanished from his home in Tranbjerg near Aarhus during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. According to Emil Enemark Sørensen, a communications advisor with East Jutland Police (Østjyllands Politi), the police are actively pursuing the case.

Morteza Najari left his home on Grønløkke Allé after midnight between Tuesday and Wednesday and has not been seen since. The police search is focused around his residence and nearby green areas, with canine units assisting in the search efforts.

It remains unknown whether Najari has fallen victim to a crime, as his phone has been turned off and his payment card has not been used, making it difficult for authorities to uncover any leads. The police have released a photograph of the missing man and are encouraging the public to reach out if they see Morteza Najari. He is described as approximately 180 cm (about 5 feet 11 inches) tall, with dark hair and grayish facial hair, and was wearing a black T-shirt and black Adidas pants when he was last seen. Anyone with information is urged to call 114, the police contact number in Denmark.
