A 39-year-old man has been remanded in custody for four weeks following a serious assault on a 19-year-old man in Skals, confirmed duty officer Anders Boye Hansen from Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi (Central and West Jutland Police). The decision was made by the court in Viborg on Sunday morning.
The police received the report from the 19-year-old man himself on Saturday evening at 9:18 PM. The incident occurred in Skals, located approximately 13 kilometers north of Viborg, at the residence of the 39-year-old. According to the police, the 19-year-old was subjected to multiple punches and kicks to his body and face by the 39-year-old and other men who are still at large.
The young man was deprived of his liberty for about three to four hours but was later discharged from the hospital without being in life-threatening condition. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear, but there are suspicions that a disagreement related to a substance abuse environment may have played a role in the event.
