On Saturday evening, a dramatic incident unfolded at a bar in Herning, Denmark, where football fans from FC Midtjylland and AaB became involved in a mass brawl. This occurred after FC Midtjylland secured a 2-0 victory over AaB at the MCH Arena.
Following the match, several AaB fans intended to return to Aalborg by bus. According to Midt- and Vestjyllands Police (Midt- og Vestjyllands Politi), the situation escalated when a resourceful AaB fan persuaded the bus to turn around to pick up a passenger who was allegedly left behind. This detour brought the bus to the bar Don Quijote in Herning, where a group of FC Midtjylland fans had gathered.
Tensions quickly escalated at the bar, leading to a confrontation involving approximately 50 individuals. While many participants suffered minor injuries, some, including a man with a broken nose and others with lacerations on their foreheads, required medical attention.
The police are currently investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made thus far.
