Residents of Ishøj, a suburb of Copenhagen, were disturbed by a small explosion in a vehicle during the night leading into Sunday. The Copenhagen West Police (Københavns Vestegns Politi) responded to the incident. According to duty officer Brian Holm, the explosion was of minor scale, comparable to fireworks, and no injuries were reported.
The police are currently investigating the incident in more detail and have called in forensic technicians to uncover the specifics regarding the explosion. Although no one was hurt, law enforcement officials believe that the episode may have been a targeted attack. Brian Holm mentioned that the perpetrators likely struck the wrong address.
So far, there have been no arrests made in connection to this case. The police are urging any witnesses who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to reach out to them at phone number 114.
