Three young boys aged 15 to 17 have been remanded in custody for two weeks following their involvement in a stabbing incident at Frederikssund Station in Denmark. The Hillerød Court made the decision to detain the boys after a preliminary hearing, and they are now facing prosecution for aggravated violence, as stated by duty officer Daniel Cunneely from the North Zealand Police (Nordsjællands Politi).
The violent incident occurred on Saturday evening, where a 26-year-old man was attacked and stabbed by the boys after a confrontation. According to the police, the 26-year-old had previously threatened the boys, which escalated into violence. He was subsequently treated at a hospital for his injuries and is now also facing charges for threats against the minors.
The police are still searching for an additional suspect in the case, whom they believe played a role in the stabbing. Duty officer Daniel Cunneely has urged this individual to turn themselves in to the police.
