On Monday afternoon, a car crashed into the entrance of a Netto store located on Frederikssundsvej in Copenhagen, resulting in at least one person being injured. The incident, which occurred in the afternoon, has drawn significant attention from both the police and rescue services.
According to Frank Mikkelsen, the duty operations manager at the Greater Copenhagen Fire Department (Hovedstadens Beredskab), the vehicle partially drove through the store’s entrance, striking a person who was on the street in front of the store. “The car has driven partially through the entrance area of the store. There is one injured person. The individual was on the street in front of the store,” he stated.
Copenhagen Police (Københavns Politi) have received multiple reports concerning the incident, which was confirmed by duty officer Dyre Sønnicksen. The Greater Copenhagen Fire Department and the police are now closely collaborating to investigate and manage the situation.
